DIY Fall Faux Floral Arrangement with Carcaba Road
/Looking for a fun DIY project this fall? We’ve got a little something for you! You can mix and match our fall florals to create a beautiful fall arrangement in your home.
Our Kirkland’s Insider, @carcabaroad is taking over today’s blog to show you how she created her own Fall Faux Floral Arrangement! Follow along to see how!
Start with a wide vase or large bowl and set floral arranging foam in the bottom. Place the largest stems on the outer rim of each side of the bowl to create balance. then insert them into the foam one by one. The pampas grass and maroon leaves are full and rich and a great way to create height and a dramatic vibe.
I began mixing the fall stems, like raffia grass and dried florals, randomly throughout the center. I love how bright and vibrant the colors are for fall but they still look and feel realistic! There is no correct way to arrange them, the best part is the stems easily slide in and out of the foam so if you aren’t satisfied with the look, you can keep rearranging.
Finally, I spray painted half of my filler gold and cut pieces to place over any exposed foam. I love the texture and dimension it adds.
This arrangement will last all season long but you can always break it down and rearrange it in seasons to come. How fun would it be to add real gourds or butter nut squash to this arrangement and use as a Thanksgiving centerpiece?!
You can find the perfect table runner and place settings at Kirkland’s to complete the look. Hope you find these tips helpful, happy arranging!
