Neutral rooms with white on white décor are a growing and classic trend, but adding hints of color can bring life to bright, clean interiors.  Here are three tips to add color to your space.  I partnered with Kirkland’s for this blog post, but all ideas are my own!

1. Accent Furniture

Incorporating color into a space with accent furniture is an affordable way to make an impact in a room with minimal investment. I choose to spend most of the budget on neutral furniture like sofas, chairs, and cabinets to furnish a room.  Then, the fun part is adding color in accent furniture and accessories.  I found this stylish blue wire and wood basket side table from Kirklands.com for less than $90.  The wood top adds warmth to this space.

2. Natural Elements

Another affordable way to refresh a space is with natural elements!  Kirklands has a great selection of faux plants from floral stems, potted succulents to seasonal wreaths. Greenery, fresh or faux, just brings life to a room and makes a room feel more inviting.

3. Soft Linens

One of the easiest ways to add color to a space is with seasonal pillows and throws!  Each season, Kirklands has a great selection of patterned, textured and graphic pillows!  In addition, throw blankets in popular colors of the season can be draped over sofas and chairs for a comforting feel.
