Our Favorite Looks From You: Christmas Edition
/Christmas is here (!!!) and we wanted to reflect one more time on a wonderful holiday season.
You’ve been snapping and sharing pictures of Christmas looks you’ve created for more than a month now, and we’ve picked out some of our favorites. Here are a few of the best photo submissions from a truly memorable season.
@_loverofdecor7_
This mug may read “silent night”, but it makes quite an impression. Sipping hot cocoa, apple cider or coffee in such a lovely living room is a dream come true. Christmas morning is looking like it will be a special time @_loverofdecor7_’s house!
@dirtonmyheels
Warm welcomes start at the front door, and a festive doormat can show off your style and give guests a place to wipe off their shoes. Oh, and as @dirtonmyheels displays, a fun doormat can also provide cute photo opportunities.
@doodle_charlotte
We really thought this mug was cute, but then we saw the design come to life in the form of one of Instagram’s most precious Goldendoodle. Looking good, Charlotte!
@house_of_mccormack
You’re never too old to send Santa a Christmas list! We love how this mailbox looks next to a tabletop tree and a cute candle. @house_of_mccormack is showing us you only need a few pieces to transform a normal surface into something special for the season.
@houseonplum
This photo proves simple looks can leave a lasting impact. @houseonplum combines a sentiment plaque, a tree statue and a vintage truck to great effect. The surface isn’t overcrowded, and the color palette is clean and festive. Sometimes simple really is the right choice.
@jillsimms
A brightly lit Christmas tree is always a beautiful sight, but you can add a little extra glow like @jillsimms is doing this year. These pre-lit boxes look great next to a pile of presents, and they help your space shine from floor to ceiling!
@lifestyleandjess
Wreaths are a nice addition to front doors throughout the year, but Christmastime is when they really stand out. The bright red berries, pine cones and magnolia leaves spread joy to friends and family before they even step foot inside.
@mamamockingbird
A little seasonal glow goes a long way at Christmas. If you’re interested in trying something different than a candle or lantern, try a cute pre-lit hurricane like @mamamockingbird! This snowman is helping set the mood in her home, and we love it!
@sunshine.n.sunflowers
We all need reminders to believe in the spirit of Christmas. This plaque only has one word, but it speaks so many more. It makes you want to embrace what Christmas is all about and spread that joy to everyone else.
@yummi_decor
In many ways, the dining room table is the hub for holiday gatherings. It is the home to memorable meals and meaningful conversations. @yummi_decor is prepping for her guests by setting the table in style. We appreciate how she’s having fun with her place settings, and we particularly love how she used a wreath and this cute scale statue to serve as a centerpiece.
As the year comes to a close, we want to remind you to tag us @kirklands throughout 2019. We can’t wait to see how you style your home in the new year!
