Memorial Day Recipes: Strawberry Thyme Vodka Spritzer and Mini Cherry Pies

School is out for the summer and Memorial Day Weekend is almost here!

On today’s blog, we’re sharing two recipes that you’ll love! This Strawberry Thyme Spritzer is refreshing for a hot day and Mini Cherry Pies are the perfect bite size dessert. Not only are these recipes delicious, they are also E-A-S-Y! You heard that right, easy and no baking involved. Get the recipes below!

  1. First, unwrap your phyllo shells and put on a baking sheet. Then, grab a spoon and start filling the shells with pre-made cherry pie filling.

  2. After your cherry pies are filled, start melting the white chocolate wafers. Make sure to microwave in 30 second increments for a total of 1 and a half minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Make sure not to burn your white chocolate! After it’s fully melted and easy to stir, carefully spoon ribbons on the cherry pies. Then serve!

  1. Put chopped strawberries, lemon juice, thyme sprigs, vodka and sugar in a cup. Then, time to muddle! Smash the strawberries and thyme with the vodka, lemon juice and sugar.

  2. After muddling, strain the cocktail into two glasses . Add ice and divide the sparkling water equally into both glasses. Then, garnish! How easy was that? Cheers, y’all!
