Styling a Harvest Entryway with White Farmhouse Haven
Fall is finally here and we couldn’t be more excited! The leaves are changing, the weather is cooler and we are decorating with pumpkins.
There are so many ways to embrace the spirit of the season, but an entryway makeover is one of the best places to start. Read along to see how Kirkland’s Insider, @whitefarmhousehaven, decorated her entryway for fall!
Hi friends! Life has been so busy between preparing for baby girl, building our home, and just regular work life balance. The house is really coming along, and I bet you thought I wouldn’t do it…but I did. I decorated an unfinished entryway! 🙂 Call me crazy but I’m just so excited to decorate our new home. It’s been a very long journey of designing this home, and we are so close to the finish line.
Part of the reason I wanted to decorate this entryway, is to show you that you don’t always need to have everything around spotless. Life can get crazy and spaces can feel like they are never “done”, but we can choose small areas of our home to spruce up. Entryways are fun areas to decorate for the holiday, because you can add just a couple pieces to make a holiday or seasonal change. Fall is definitely one of my favorites to decorate for!
Now normally I would always have a large table in the entryway, but since our house isn’t finished I used smaller items to show you how to decorate without a large table. The ladder is part of why I can do this because it gives dimension and height to the space. Ladder shelves are great to add in different colors as well. I would love to actually add a mustard throw blanket here to give it another added level of color.
Next up, florals! Florals are such an easy way to switch things out throughout the season. The harvest edition florals from Kirkland’s are some of my favorite because they are so vibrant and great quality. I actually have three different types of florals in this mix to add more texture and a variety of mustards.
The pod sprays and poppy stems pair SO WELL with the mustard sign as well (which has such a true statement on it!). I love having seasonal signs, probably have too many, but they are another perfect addition to style something up for each season. I’m big on finding signs that have pretty fonts, and this cursive was just perfect.
So some quick tips for entryways:
Florals – They are easy to swap out for every season/holiday and you can keep the same vase/basket!
Dimension & Height: Try to do varying heights between things like ladder shelves, mirrors, or even taller plants.
Signs: These are fun ways to add fun sayings and an additional seasonal element to any space.
Now how are you going to decorate for fall? Bringing out the pumpkins? Just adding the colors? Whatever you choose to do, Kirkland’s has so many great options in their Harvest collection to freshen up for the season! Head on over to their site and check out all their goodies!
