Easy Red, White & Blue Cookies for July 4th
Whatever your plans are for the Fourth of July, we’re confident we can make them a little sweeter with these patriotic cookies. This dessert screams red, white and blue, and it’s truly a savor-every-bite treat people will love.
The recipe is so simple, and most of the ingredients are probably in your pantry and refrigerator already. Let’s get down to baking.

INGREDIENTS
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup butter, salted
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 bag red, white, and blue holiday M&M mix
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder. Set aside.
Cream butter and sugars.
Mix in eggs and vanilla.
Fold in dry ingredients one cup at a time.
Mix in 3/4 of the bag of Red White and Blue M&M's
Roll dough into balls.
Press a few of the remaining red, white, and blue M&M's into the ball.
Bake for 9-11 minutes at 350 degrees.
