Adding Texture to Your Space with Bless This Nest
One of the best ways to transform a room is by adding in new textures. From fun fabrics to pieces woven by hand, textures change the look and feel of an entire room.

Hello friends!! I have a really fun post for you that I am SO excited about! Today, I am going to share with you 3 fun ways to use a bench in your home. Honestly, I have been in a huge rut with my house these days. Since it’s almost summer, I have just been in the mood to change some things up around here. I have been on the lookout for items to lighten and freshen up my home. My goal is to give each space a mini refresh by adding texture, warmth, and natural elements. One amazing find that I came across on my search was the most beautiful bench in all the land from Kirkland’s. This Textured Gray and White Bench is so amazing that I had to share with you 3 fun ways that I could use it in my home. Hopefully, you guys can help me decide where it should go!
1. USE IT AS AN OTTOMAN OR COFFEE TABLE
My first idea that I had was to use it in front of one of my sofas in my living room as an ottoman. We love getting comfy around here, so I love the idea of having a pretty bench to use as an ottoman. I love how the gray and white pattern matches my doors perfectly. It honestly looks like it was made to be in this room!!
This bench is a beauty!! The upholstered fabric adds so much texture to my neutral space!!
The size is also large enough if you wanted to use it as a small coffee table. I love the idea of using a bench as a coffee table. It is the perfect height and width to even add some decor to it or prop your computer on to get some work done. You can see the measurements and more product details HERE.
2. A COZY READING SPOT UNDER A WINDOW
The next idea I had was to use it under the window in my bonus room. We have a huge window in here, so I thought creating a little cozy reading spot in this room would be fun for my kids. They are always hanging out in here, so they are loving having a bright space to read in.
My favorite detail on this bench might just be the natural light wood legs. They are simple, rustic, beautiful, and can go with so many different styles. Love how this bench looks in my bonus room! How will I ever decide where this should go??
3. SMALL SPACE SITTING AREA
The last idea I had for this bench was to use it in my hallway. The space is small so I thought this bench would add a chic and stylish look to my hallway. It also creates an unexpected sitting area which I love!
For my hallway refresh, I paired the bench with some natural woven round plaques from Kirkland’s. I love the simplicity and natural look in this space just in time for summer.
So there you have it guys. As you can see, I love this bench and could literally use it almost anywhere in my home. I honestly love it in all 3 places, so I would love to hear what you think!! Don’t forget to check out all the details on this bench and other products from these spaces below.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
