Your Step-By-Step Guide To Easter Decorating | Part 2

Last week we started our journey through the home, providing you with Easter ideas for every space. We tackled front porch areas and entryways, and now we’re moving into the living room before we complete our step-by-step guide with the dining room.

Mantel & Living Room

Every space needs a strong focal point, and in the living room, it’s easy to transform your mantel into an Easter eye-catcher.

First, there are obvious Easter favorites to consider when you set up your mantel. Wreaths look lovely hanging above the fireplace.  Bunny statues and figurines are sweet and simple additions to any Easter scene. Easter signs and fresh blooms are also nice touches to try.

If you want to embrace something new, perhaps you could hang an Easter banner. Dangling carrots and rabbits in front of the mantel (at a safe distance from any possible fire, of course) is a fun idea for the Easter season. That space is not normally utilized, so why not find a way to make it useful!

Dining Room

It always feels special when you sit down for an Easter brunch with friends and family. Shared experiences at the dinner table are unforgettable, but before the meal is served, we want to help you set the table!

We’ll start with the centerpiece. You can always search for an Easter centerpiece… or you could re-purpose one you already have! Tuck some eggs away in the greenery of your existing centerpiece. Add some rabbits for additional flair. Fill a candle holder with eggs instead of rocks or corks. You truly can make your table Easter-friendly without breaking the budget.

Moving out from the centerpiece, you have the chance to make every spot at the table spectacular. Easter placemats. Miniature carrots on every plate. Small flowers by the utensils. These little dashes of Easter can make a major impact if you incorporate them all around the table.
