Creating A Cozier Space by The Little White Farmhouse
Winter weather is still lingering in so many areas around the country, and it’s only natural to want to curl up inside on a cold and dreary day.
How do you create a cozy environment, complete with piles of pillows and throws, while maintaining a stylish space? Finding that balance can be tricky, but Kaley Ann from The Little White Farmhouse has agreed to share the secrets from her latest blog with all of you! Be sure to take notes because these are some can’t-miss tips.
I don’t know about you guys but until this week it was soo cold here in New England. And when I say cold, I mean that the temperature was in the negatives and we got not only snow storms but ice storms as well. I’m sure most of you would agree that these chilly winter months call for lots of Netflix, snuggles and the occasional hot cocoa. I also love to have my decor reflect that throughout the season. Which means filling our home with lots of pillows and throws to add a cozy feel. And this corner of our loft is definitely our go to hang out spot so I wanted to add some new pieces to give this space a simple winter refresh. I scored this gorgeous shaggy dot pillow, this knit pillow with tassels, and this super soft chenille throw blanket from Kirklands. I replaced the pops of red I had from Christmas with these cream throws to create a simplified and brighter look for winter. Plus, I love layering different textures and knits, so these beauties look perfect paired with my vintage and grain sac pillows. And if your loving these as much as I am, then you have to head over and check their site out for yourself. They added a modern farm house collection that is to die for!! Selling everything from furniture to decor, lighting fixtures and more. Click the link to shop, there’s always new and amazing finds! Enjoy.
