3 Easy Spooky Halloween Treats

Halloween is here, and we could not be any more excited!

We enjoy seeing the festive front porches with glowing jack-o’-lanterns. Photos of creative costumes inspire us to step it up a notch year after year. Most importantly, we love all the treats that people are serving up.

Regular candy is always a great option for an office party or a scary movie viewing, but we want to show you a way to make something special, something spooky and delicious. These DIY treats are tasty, easy to assemble and perfectly match the mood of the holiday.

Reese’s Oreo Bats

Ingredients

  • Mini Reese's Cups

  • Oreos

  • Candy Eyeballs

  • Peanut Butter

Directions

  1. Cut Oreos in half and remove the cream. Cut each half in half to create the wings.

  2. Using a toothpick, apply a small drop of peanut butter to one end of each Oreo. Press onto the Reese's cup to make wings.

  3. Next, place a small drop of peanut butter onto the back of each candy eyeball and place on top of the edge of the wings.

Marshmallow Monster Teeth

Ingredients

  • Apple Slices

  • Peanut Butter

  • Mini Marshmallows

Directions

  1. Spread peanut butter onto both sides of the apple.

  2. Place mini marshmallows between two slices and sandwich together.

  3. Hold together with a toothpick if needed.

Mini Spider Donuts

Ingredients

  • Large Pretzel Twists

  • Mini Donuts

  • M&Ms or Candy Eyeballs

  • Frosting or Melted Chocolate

Directions

  1. Use a knife to cut the two curved sides off a pretzel.

  2. Carefully push 8 pretzels curves into the top of a mini donut to form legs. Slowly press pretzel curves so they don’t snap.

  3. Using a toothpick or small spoon, place a bit of frosting or melted chocolate onto the mini donut. Stick two M&Ms on for eyes, or use candy eyeballs.
